The brief
Scheels set out to run inbound and outbound freight on one platform: direct LTL tariffs with national and regional carriers, Rocket Shipping brokerage rates alongside them, vendors ordering through a portal, and every carrier invoice audited automatically.
What we built
We built it with them end to end: direct LTL tariffs with national and regional carriers, supplemented by Rocket brokerage rates and their truckload fleet; a vendor portal that API-feeds Rocket's TMS with custom routing logic by pickup address; BOL and labels sent straight to vendors; then every quote pushed into our Freight Bill Audit platform, where OCR/AI parses each carrier invoice against the quote.
The outcome
Vendors self-serve, freight routes itself by pickup address, and every invoice is audited — each variance tracked and disputed under its own ID.
The integration
OCR/AI matches every carrier invoice to its quote — each variance gets a unique ID, with all documents and the carrier dispute thread attached.
